Maintenance Department
Based at the District's Service Center, Brown County Water Improvement District's Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the District's delivery system and facilities. The delivery system consists of 52 miles of pipeline ranging from 42 inch to 10 inch pipe size. Ninety-five percent of the system is used to transport untreated water to the District's treatment plant, City of Early's treatment plant and numerous irrigation customers in the area. The department also maintains District facilities including buildings, reservoirs, roads, right of ways, pump stations and the lake.
